Holistic Massage Therapy

Holistic is the word used to describe the whole person. The aim is to work with, and re-balance the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves. It is an undertaking to take personal responsibility for your own health and well being.

A formal initial consultation and ongoing communication between us will ensure that you receive a treatment that places the focus on you and your specific needs. I work alongside other practitioners from other fields in Complementary and Alternative Therapies and if I think they could be more helpful for you, I can refer you.

The power of touch has been used for centuries for general health and well-being and improved vitality. Therapeutic Massage can be used to:

  • Relieve muscle tension and soreness
  • Increase circulation
  • Enhance deep relaxation
  • Improve sleep patterns
  • Aid the digestive system
  • Increase mobility and flexibility
  • Release unexpressed emotion
  • Heighten awareness of the mind-body connection
  • Increase mental clarity

I use a variety of oils but one of the most popular is Neals Yard Geranium and Orange organic oil – you choose….

Speciality Treatments

Introducing from October 2011, Soothing Winter Warmth is a treatment for when you need something even more relaxing and nurturing. This is a 90 minute treatment that starts with a foot spa massage, allowing you to start to allow the body and mind to relax and become more restful before your actual treatment begins,  while you gently sip some lovely herbal tea, an infusion of calming leaves. You will then have your body prepared for massage using a body brush before you experience the warmth of the hot stones using slow massage strokes and techniques. An essential oil of your choice will be added to the treatment further enhancing the benefits of this deeply relaxing experience. The cost for this will be £55 and makes an ideal Christmas present for you to receive or to purchase. I supply Bespoke vouchers with the recipients name on and the occasion too ready for you to put in a card…..please email me to book in.
