Simple Pleasures….

In a world as complex as the one we now inhabit, it can be hard to remember that some things are free. Some of life’s most beautiful things are free (well almost if you omit the cost of chocolate!) So here’s my ten…

  1. Dancing round the kitchen to Love Shack
  2. Kicking the leaves as you walk in Autumn in a London Park
  3. Dipping berries in melted chocolate
  4. Snuggling up with my daughter when it’s cold (my son is waaaay past that!)
  5. The sound of rain smashing against the window
  6. Sitting in the conservatory reading when the house is completely empty
  7. Looking through old photos and cards on a winters afternoon
  8. Having my feet rubbed by someone lovely ;0)
  9. The smell of a cake baking in the oven
  10. Being greeted by my dog Lulu when I’ve been out all day

That didn’t take long at all so when it’s all driving you bonkers, think of your list of ten and remember, the best things in life are usually free anyway!

How could I have forgotten about singing at the top of my voice when alone in the car?!

  11. Louise Brown May 2, 2011 at 2:30 pm #

Perhaps I should really keep the following to myself:

    - When you get that message from HMRC that says “Your return submission has been successfull”
    - When the accounts balance first time!
    - The smile on their face when a client thinks they are going to have to pay loads of tax and you manage to get them a refund

No I guess these are just me! I’m not normal !!!! ;o)
